Rachelle Ann Go is a 29 year old Chinese Filipino actress. She is known in the Philippines as for being a renowned pop star. Some of her famous songs include "Love of My Life" and "Don't Cry Out Loud." Rachelle first made her way into the public eye when she won Eat Bulaga! a singing contest in the Philippines at the age of ELEVEN. She went on to win several other competitions and became the famous pop star she is today. Rachelle enjoyed many successful years as a pop star before she joined the theatre community. Her first role was as Ariel in The Little Mermaid for which she won a Best Actress award from Broadway World Philippine Awards. (The equivalent of a Broadway.com Choice Award.) After The Little Mermaid Rachelle went back to her pop career before returning to the stage as Jane in Tarzan. For her performance as Jane she won another Best Actress award from Broadway World Philippine Awards. While performing the role of Jane in Tarzan Rachelle was also auditioning for the critically acclaimed 2014 West End Revival of Miss Saigon. She was one of 5 girls who had made it all the way to the final call back to play the role of Kim. She was eventually given the role of Gigi a veteran Saigon stripper. She garnered critical acclaim for her rendition of "The Movie in my Mind" which shows her massive range that includes a very high belt. After Rachelle ended her run in

2014 West End Revival of Miss Saigon
Miss Saigon she went back home to the Philippines for a while before returning to the West End to play the role of Fantine in Les Miserables which she again received critical acclaim for. Rachelle left the West End company for a little while to join the new Manila production of Les Miserables. After the Manila run she returned to the West End as Fantine. Rachelle is a pure ball of talent. I don't think I have ever heard of voice that has had that much flexibility. Rachelle is not going anywhere anytime soon. She has caught the theatre bug and I hope she continues to outshine. I know that one day she will win an Olivier Award. She is truly an amazing actress and an amazing singer. Set aside an hour or two one day and just search Youtube for Rachelle Ann Go her singing will blow you away. Just a reminder English is not her first language and her diction is better then some English people.
