Mimi Lien

Asians/Asian-Americans are bursting with talent and yet the theatre world barely seems to use them. Now, granted things have gotten much better as of recently, but it still could be much better. There is so much that I could say on this subject, and I do plan on writing it out one day, but I have finals to study for and a paper to write so I'll just stop here. Don't forget to have yourself a little Youtube concert of some of these outstanding actors/actresses. My personal favorites are Emily Bautista, Ethan Le PhongEva Noblezada, Hong Kwang-HoJon Jon Briones, Megumi HamadaOak Joo-Hyun and of
David Henry Hwang
course the fabulous Rachelle Ann Go. However, this year is a year to celebrate the Tony's because there are at least 10 nominees of Asian descent this year! They are in a vast amount of categories too which makes me so happy!
