We all know that Andrew Llyod Webber only writes his scores to try and murder his leading women, but he does have some beautiful songs under his name and this is one of them. Don't Cry For Me Argentina is in the second act of the musical Evita and is sung by Eva Peron. It is perhaps the most well known song from this show.
Elaine Paige: Original London Eva
Lea Salonga: Performed this at her Broadway Concert (She would have made an amazing Eva)
Madonna: Eva Peron in the 1996 film adaption. I actually liked her performance in this role, her voice could have used some work but she was not terrible. You should see who some of the other choices are*
Nicole Scherzinger: She performed this song at "Andrew Lloyd Webber: 40 Musical Years" and I just have one thing to say "When is this coming to Broadway?" She was truly amazing in this performance. I never expected anything like it.
Patti LuPone: Original Broadway Eva (Fun Fact: She hated her experience in Evita)
*Barbra Streisand (What? Just what?), Liza Minelli (I don't see it), Charo (Cuchi-cuchi, yes that Charo), Cher (I kind of see it), Olivia Newton-John (Why would you choose an Australian with the thickest Australian accent?), Michelle Pfeiffer (I don't see this either)

Peter Pan Live!
I completely and utterly forgot about Peter Pan Live! It actually looks good this year and I don't think it will be as bad as The Sound of Music Live! (We all know what a hot mess that was. Carrie Underwood can't act her way out of a paper bag, great singing though) So if you take notice I have just added a new countdown timer for Peter Pan Live! Everyone should watch it just to see Christian Borle as Mr. Smee/ Mr. Darling.
Opening Night: Coming Home
Coming Home is Kristin Chenoweth's newest album recorded live from her concert Coming Home in her hometown Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (I had to sing the lyrics to Oklahoma to spell that) and her concert is being aired tonight on PBS at 9pm ET. I recommend that all of you watch it! Kristin Chenoweth is an amazing human being (Also a Tony and Emmy Winner). I have nothing mean or ugly to say about her. She always acts with the utmost respect and classiness in public. She leaves all of her dirtiness for her acting roles. And she is outrageously funny. Kristin Chenoweth has released 4 other studio albums (Let Yourself Go, As I Am, A Lovely Way to Spend Christmas, Some Lessons Learned) She has also released a memoir A Little Bit Wicked: Life, Love, and Faith in Stages (Which is a New York Times Best Seller) Kristin Chenoweth's many theater credits include Broadway: Steel Pier (Precious McGuire), You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown [Revival] (Sally Brown), Epic Proportions [Revival] (Louise Goldman), Wicked (Galinda), The Apple Tree [Revival] (Eve, Princess Barbára, Ella & Passionella), Promises, Promises [Revival] (Fran Kubelik), On the Twentieth Century [Revival] (Lily Garland) I really recommend you watch Coming Home tonight at 9pm ET on PBS, you will not be disappointed. Watch it! #ComingHome
Stop, Thief!: Sherie Renee Scott 2010
Show: Everyday Rapture
Staring: Sherie Rene Scott, Eamon Foley, Lindsay Mendez and Betsy Wolfe (Wolfe would later star in an Off-Broadway revival of The Last Five Years as Cathy, a roll which Scott originated)
Book: Dick Scanlan and Sherie Rene Scott
Score: Various Artists
Tony Awards
Best Actress in a Musical for Sherie Rene Scott [Nominated]
Best Book of a Musical for Dick Scanlan and Sherie Rene Scott [Nominated]
Sherie Renee Scott has been robbed of so many awards it's not even fair! She is such a talented actress and deserves so much more recognition. The last time Scott was nominated for Best Actress in a Musical in 2010 she lost to Catherine Zeta-Jones (Miss Jones is talented, and I'm not saying she didn't deserve that Tony, I think she did a very good job in her role, but Scott in my opinion is the better actress and deserved the Tony more.) At the time Miss Jones was starring in a revival of A Little Night Music and she played Desiree Armfeldt. Everyday Rapture is a semi-autobiographical musical about Scott's life. The show was "a one-person show with four people in it." said Scanlan. "The other three, besides Scott, are a younger actor who has an extended...sequence and two women who serve as backup singers — 'The Mennonettes' — and share other scenes with her." Scott is a very talented actress and deserved to win a Tony for this show even if it was for Best Book she still should have won a Tony. I think this show is so funny. It perfectly shows Scott's many different acting skills and shows off her amazing dry humor. Below I have added some clips and songs from the show so you could see her in her amazing glory.
"Got A Thing on My Mind"
"Get Happy"
"I Guess the Lord Must Be in New York City"
"The Weight"
"Why"
"Up the Ladder to the Roof"
Four Leaf Clover Monologue
Topeka Monologue

Watch What Happens
Patina Miller as Leading Player in Pippin (2013 Revival)
Patina Miller was amazing in this show! I listened to her Sister Act recording over a hundred times. And I came to love her even more in this role. I personally prefer her over Ben Vereen as the Leading Player *SIDE BAR: I honestly don't understand why everyone was getting so hype about him as the Leading Player. I didn't think he was that good, he sounded like a pedophile, especially in Magic to Do. I had a nightmare about that it was... Never mind anyway: SIDE BAR* Miller is a genius and I can't wait to see what her next project will be. FUN FACT: My old teacher (Old like I used to have her she is still very young) her brother and sister-in-law were producers for this show!!! They won a Tony for Best Revival of a Musical!
Pippin Tony Award Performance "Corner of the Sky/ Magic to Do"
"Simple Joys" Performed Live at David Letterman
"On the Right Track" Performed on The View (At 2:08 she got a little booty dunk goin on)

A Star is Born: Michael C. Hall
He has such a beautiful body. I mean look at this
He's such a beautiful creature! To quote a comment on this pic "That's no Angry Inch ;)" Amen to that sister!
Besides, being a beautiful creature he is also the face of the charity Somalia Aid Society's Feed The People. This charity takes food and sends them to starving people all over Africa last year they sent food to over 36,000 starving people. And on a very serious note, in January of 2010 Hall was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma it was a very upsetting time for him. Considering he was 38 years old and his father died from the same type of Cancer at 39. Luckily they found the cancer at it's early stages and as of April 25, 2010 Hall announced he was fully in remission.
Hall accepting his Golden Globe for Dexter wearing a beanie because he was in Chemo.
Because Hall became a cancer survivor, he thought it was his duty to help spread the word about cancer. He is the celebrity spokesperson for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's "Light the Night Walk" fundraising campaign. And he continues to donate money to charities that help research a cure for Cancer.
Hall in an ad for "Light the Night Walk"
Michael C. Hall has a beautiful body (A really beautiful body) and a beautiful heart. You can CURRENTLY see him right now on Broadway in Hedwig and the Angry Inch
Hall is more known for his TV show Dexter, but he does have many theater credits to his name (Duh, or why would he be on here.) Broadway: Cabaret [Revival] (Emcee) {Replacement}, The Realistic Joneses (John Jones), Hedwig and the Angry Inch [Revival] (Hedwig) {Replacement} Off-Broadway: Mr. Marmalade (Mr. Marmalade), Corpus Christi (Peter et al.) Shakespeare in the Park: Henry V (Earl of Warick), Timon of Athens (Caphis), Macbeth (Malcolm), Cymbeline (Posthumus Leonatus) National Tour: Chicago (Billy Flynn)
Unfortunately Michael C. Hall has not been nominated for any Tony Awards :( But as a conciliation prize here's some more pics of his hot body!

Unexpected Song: Maybe This Time
I really like this song. I would never sing it (Eh, maybe) but I just love the simplicity of it and I think that's what makes it so beautiful. It's not about having these crazy riffs it's about "This is how I feel, plain and simple".
Julie Andrews: She sang this on her TV show The Julie Andrews Hour (When she lost her voice the world lost a great singer.)
Kristin Chenoweth: She's performing this song on her Coming Home Concert/Album. She's utter perfection and I love her! I have never hated her in a role.
Liza Minelli: Sally Bowles (Movie Adaption) I'm not a big Liza fan, I appreciate her I'm just not amazed by her. But I do think she did an awesome job with this song. And she also won an Oscar for it.
Ruthie Henshall: She would have made a great Sally when she was younger.
Samantha Barks: She played Sally in the 2006 London Revival (Replacement) *Note: I know the Audio sucks in this and I'm sorry*
Susan Egan: She played Sally in the 1998 Broadway Revival (Replacement) She is amazing and I love her!

The Show Must Go On: Stories
*I got all these from stories I read online*
Story 1: Hello, Deer!
On the Hello, Dolly tour they performed at an outdoor theatre (Starlight Theatre in Kansas City) and a deer came on stage. Carol Channing turned to the deer and said "I believe this is my scene"
Story 2: My Weave
Laura Bell Bundy's wig come off during Bend and Snap she turned to Paulette and asked her "Can you help me put my hair back on?"
Story 3: Bang Bang!
During a show of West Side Story when Tony gets shot, the gun shot didn't go off so Chino turned around and yelled "BANG!"
Story 4: Beauty and the Scene
The harness wasn't attached to the Beast for the transformation. The actor simply got up and took of his mask.
Story 5: Omigod You Guys!
The trap door (That brings Elle up for her first appearance) opened for a set to rise up and it got stuck for a few minutes. Annaleigh Ashford (Margot) bounced up and down on the stage and yelled (In character), "Omigod, you guys! There's a big hole in the floor!"
Story 6: What's the matter with kids today?
During a Newsies performance, in the scene where Jeremy Jordan (Jack Kelly) and Kara Lindsay (Katherine Plumber) kiss, a little kid in the audience yelled, "that was disgusting!", Kara was visibly trying not to laugh.
Story 7: You've got some explaining to do Chino.
One night during a run of WEST SIDE STORY, Chino forgot his gun so he threw his shoe at Tony. Then, after Tony has died, Maria turns to Chino and ad libs "Why, Chino? Why the Poisoned Boot?!"
Story 8: You can't get a man with a gun.
During a show of West Side Story after Tony gets shot and Maria goes crazy and says something like "I could kill you, and you, and you, and you and still have a bullet left for me." Maria accidentally fired the gun at Consuela, and Consuela than died on stage and yelled "You bitch!"

Magic To Do: Shrek Auditions
My high school this year is doing Shrek! And auditions are in 7 days! I'm so excited! I can't wait! I love Shrek!
I Dreamed a Dream: Pippin
Pippin is such a unique show and I love it. I love it's humor and daringness. The movie rights have been bought and here's my dream cast. I really hope they stick with the whole circus family plot. They could do so much with that in the movie it would be awesome.
Raven-Symoné as Leading Player (Raven is so underrated! Everyone think's she's so untalented. She's actually very talented and she's very humble about it. She's one of the few Disney Channel stars who didn't go crazy after their show ended. I think Raven would bring some unique fierceness to the role of the Leading Player. I think Raven would do an awesome job! And after all she was considered for the role of Effie White in the Dreamgirls movie. She also has an amazing voice! I think she would be awesome as the Leading Player)
Anthony Ieradi as Pippin (He's not a famous Broadway star, yet. He went to my high school and he has amazingly crazy talent! I look up to him, he's like an older brother to me. He's one of the most talented people I know. And he sang "Corner of the Sky" for our high school talent show. It was amazing!!! He would make such a great Pippin and if you do know him you would totally understand why I would say that.)
Joel Grey as Charlemagne aka Charles (Joel Grey is so adorable. He's so funny and he's such a great Broadway actor especially for a man in his 80's. And for a man in his 80's he can still sing and dance. Hell, he was in the 2011 revival of Anything Goes. He would be so perfect as Charles)
Bernadette Peters as Fastrada (Charlotte d'Amboise was amazing as this role and she should have been nominated for Tony this year. She's amazing, I love her. But let's get real her Bernadette Peters would be awesome in this role. And she definitely has the sexiness to pull off the role and she also has the dancing skills to pull of this role.)
Meryl Streep as Berthe (STREEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Yes! Please can this happen? it would be so awesome! And Meryl would be so funny in this role! Oscar #4?)
Anne Hathaway as Catherine (Her role as Fantine has opened up so many roles for her! And this is one role which she would pull off perfectly. She's just flawless.)
Billy Magnussen as Lewis (He would be so funny! And he's awesome, not to mention hot!, and he would be awesome as Lewis. He was robbed of that Tony!)
If this cast were to ever happen I would be the first to buy a ticket.

Watch What Happens
Audra McDonald as Billie Holiday in Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill
I'm not a big Audra McDonald fan. Frankly her vibrato drives me insane (Sorry. Ryan) But when I saw a video clip of her, I was left speechless. I just kept thinking "No! That's no Audra! Where the hell is her vibrato? Her big 'I'm trained in super-high soprano opera vocals, suck it' voice.?" It still amazes me. I have no idea how she does this transformation. She earned my respect, I'm still not a fan of her, but she earned my respect for this role. She was absolutely amazing! This is a role that earned her a record breaking SIX, count them all 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. That's more than anyone in the world! And she is also the only person to win a tony in all 4 acting categories. Not to mention she's only in her 40's she still has a long career ahead of her. I'm not a fan of her, but I did love her performance in this show. And she was amazing! Her Tony win was completely deserved.

I Dreamed a Dream: Victor/Victoria
I feel like the book and the songs could definitely do some work, they were good none of it was memorable though.
Victoria Grant/Count Victor Grazinski: Michelle Williams (She is amazing and if she can impersonate Marilyn Monroe, excellently I might add, she can impersonate a man.)
King Marchand: Michael C. Hall (I think he has the singing voice and the body size to play King, I'm going to see him in Hedwig and the Angry Inch in December and I'm so excited!)
Carroll "Toddy" Todd: Billy Porter (He would win his 2nd Tony for this role. When I watched the recorded Broadway performance online I just saw him in this role.)
Norma Cassidy: Annaleigh Ashford (She is amazing, and her Tony Nod was so well deserved for Kinky Boots, and although it was hard to understand sometimes what she was saying her "The History of Wrong Guys" was hilarious!)

Unexpected Song: Anything Goes
I think Anything Goes is such a funny show! And it has so many awesome songs!
Ethel Merman: The Original Reno Sweeney
Jonathan Groff: "Miscast" Benifit Concert (This was awesome!)
Patti Lupone: Reno Sweeney in the 1962 Broadway revival (I'm not a big fan of Patti, but I do think she did a good job with this song)
Sutton Foster: Reno Sweeney in the 2011 Broadway revival (She completely deserved that Tony Award and was amazing)
Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga: Cheek to Cheek (Album) If Lady Gaga sang more songs like this I would be her biggest fan!

What the Fuck?
What is musical theater coming too? I have heard so many of these movies/ tv-shows that are being turned into musicals, and I don't mean parodies, I mean like actual productions.
The Duck Commander Family Musical
Basis: Duck Dynasty
Why? This show is about a bunch of rich rednecks I don't understand who would be able to turn this into a musical.
Magic Mike The Musical
Basis: Magic Mike
We've already had a show about strippers The Fully Monty.
Mean Girls The Musical
Basis: Mean Girls
I love Mean Girls, but Mean Girls the musical will just be Heathers: The Musical without all the deaths.
Frozen The Musical
Basis: Frozen
I hated the movie and there's no way that they can pull off all the ice magic on stage.
The Hungers Games the Musical
Basis: The Hunger Games (Book One)
I think the sets could be absolutely beautiful! Especially in the arena. They could come up with so many unique designs it would be awesome. I just don't know how it will translate to stage though.
Dave The Musical
Basis: Dave
The actual movie sounded so stupid and the musical will just be even stupider.
American Psycho The Musical
Basis: American Psycho
This is already a music, but the movie really wasn't that good, I was completely and utterly confused the whole movie.
Back to the Future the Musical
Basis: Back to the Future
I loved the movie, but it wouldn't make a good musical.
Rio the Musical
Basis: Rio
We've already done this, Lion King...
Alvin and the Chipmunks the Musical
Basis: Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked
I want to just punch myself in the face after seeing this. Just no.
Groundhog Day Musical
Basis: Groundhog Day
I can't I don't have any more words left.
Clueless Musical
Basis: Clueless
What?
True Blood Musical
Basis: True Blood
Stop!
School of Rock Musical
Basis: School of Rock
I'm gonna go insane!
I can't even try to look at anymore. I might actually go crazy! If you want to look on just click here.

A Star is Born: Bernadette Peters
Not only is Miss Bernadette Peters an amazingly talented woman (And gorgeous too). She also does a lot of charity work outside of her career. She co-founded (With Mary Tyler-Moore) Broadway Barks. It's basically an organization to help find sheltered dogs/cats a proper home, and every year they throw this massive adopt-a-thon at The Shuburt Alley in NYC. To learn more information click here.
Miss Peters at Broadway Barks adopt-a-thon
She is also on the Board of Trustees of Broadway for Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights Aids. And that pretty much tells you what the organization does. They help with the fight against aids/ HIV. Some of the many fundraisers they do are 1) Broadway Bares, basically all the hot men and women of Broadway join together for a night of stripteasing and being sexy. 2) Broadway Flee Market, it's a Broadway flee market. They sell a bunch of stuff related to Broadway from new shows and old shows and they have actor appearances and you can get your pictures taken with them (For a price) and other cool stuff. 3) Broadway Backwards, basically the men and women switch roles. For Example: Romeo & Juliet Romeo would be played by a girl and Juliet would be played by a man. For more information click here.
Bernadette Peters is a beautiful person, inside and out, she has a gorgeous body and is so caring and grateful towards everyone. Bernadette Peters has had many theater credits here are her major ones. Broadway: On The Town [Revival] (Hildy Esterhazy), Mack & Mabel (Mabel Normand), Sunday in the Park with George (Dot), Song and Dance (Emma), Into the Woods (The Witch), The Goodbye Girl (Paula), Annie Get Your Gun [Revival] (Annie Oakley), Gypsy [Revival] (Rose), A Little Night Music [Revival] {Replacement} (Desiree Armfeldt), Follies [Revival] (Sally Durant Plummer) Off-Broadway: Dames at Sea (Ruby), Sunday in the Park with George (Dot) Other: A Bed and a Chair: A New York Love Affair [New York City Center]

Watch What Happens
Anne Hathaway as Fantine in Les Miserables
I originally doubted Anne Hathaway, I knew she could sing I just saw her as this little princess still. Oh my god! She actually teared my eyes up during "I Dreamed A Dream" and I've never cried during movies or from any videos I'm shown that's just not me. But for Anne just tearing me up that takes skill! And her Oscar was rightfully deserved! Her performance was so powerful! This role has opened up so many doors for her! She showed so much maturity in just one film, just wow! She was so amazing!

Unexpected Song: Last Midnight
I love Into the Woods! It's amazing! And I will always love it. I love it, because not a single production in the world is a same! There are similarities, but never an exact copy. So every time you see it it's like "I wonder what this production will look like"
Bernadette Peters: The original Witch on Broadway, she is awesome! (Skip to 1:34)
Donna Murphy: 2012 Public Theater, New York I hated this production except Donna. Everything was bad from the costumes, hair, makeup, acting, singing, blocking. (But that's another story, never mind, anyway!) Donna was awesome! And she put her own sassy Mother Gothel twist on it. (Skip to 2:34)
Hannah Waddingham: -___- I devoted a Watch What Happens... Look there.
Vanessa Williams: The 2002 Broadway Revival I loved her in this. And she brought this sassiness to the role which was awesome! I also loved how they made it like a menacing lullaby to the baby. And I loved how you see The Witch transforming back into an old hag. (However, I did not like the lyric changes they made.)
Unknown: She rocked this song! It was awesome! And I'm digging the whole short hair thing.

Unexpected Song: Everything's Coming Up Roses
I don't think I have stressed enough how much I love Gypsy, but just in case I haven't.
Bernadette Peters: Played Mama in the 2003 Broadway revival of Gypsy
Betty Buckley: Played Mama Rose in a 1998 production at The Papermill Playhouse, it was rumored to be Broadway bound, but it never happened.
Billy Porter: Covered on his album "Billy's Back on Broadway"
You can listen to it here, my computer won't let me share the file directly for some reason.
Ethel Merman: The Original Mama Rose should have won a Tony for this role. I love her!
Imelda Staunton: Is currently playing Mama in London at the Chichester Festival Theatre and it is rumored to transfer to West End (London's Broadway) and Imelda will probably win another Oliver Award (The British Equivalent of the Tony)

The Vocal Rest Diaries: Day Fifteen
Grade: B+
Reasons: I sang the usual SSB, JTTW, TSOM and did some vocal warm-ups the usual. I did some yelling, but it was part of an acting class so I'm not gonna count it.
Days Left: 0
Reflections: *Sing to the tune of "Last Midnight" from Into the Woods*
It's the last midnight!
I can finally sing!
Now before it's past midnight.
I think I'll belt Rose's turn!

New Posts/ Segmants
Unexpected Song: When I will recommend a song, I'll try and make this a weekly
Magic to Do: This will be about the different shows I'm in and what I'm doing in the shows and stuff.
The Most Beautiful Thing In the World: A Broadway actor who I think is beautiful inside and out. (Or just beautiful on the outside, not everyone is nice and hot.)
Say that Again Sam: This is where I'm gonna post musical related stuff that you never thought could be musical related. For example, Friday the 13th: The musical, Psycho: The Musical, Star Wars: The Musical
What The Fuck?: My ranting posts mostly about Broadway gossip and me complaining about stuff. Haha

The Vocal Rest Diaries: Day Fourteen
Grade: A-
Reasons: I sang the usual SSB, JTTW, TSOM and did some vocal warm-ups the usual.
Days Left: 1
Reflections: *Sing to the tune of "One Day More" from Les Miserables*
One day more!
Another day of being silenty
This never-ending road to Calvary;
Vocal rest is such a crime my crime
And nobody got that time.
One day more!
I did not belt at all today.
How did I live without belting?
One day more.
Tomorrow I will belt away
And yet with silence something has started.
One more day without a voice
Will I ever belt again?
One more day of vocal caring.
I was born to belt a show tune.
What's a good song I should know?
And I swear I will be in tune
But I must take care of my voice.
One more day till I sing a song!
Should I sing from Little Shop?
At the barricades of vocal freedom.
Shall I sing some Sondheim?
When my vocal chords are strong
Do I belt now, do I dare?
I will sing and belt with glee.
The time is now, the day is here!

The Vocal Rest Diaries: Day Thirteen
Grade: B
Reasons: I did pretty good, but did do some yelling
Days Left: 2
Reflections: *Sing to the tune of "I Can Do Better Than That" from The Last Five Years*
I only have two, two, two days left!
Only two more days to do.
Then I will be able to belt each morning!
Two, just two, oh thank god just two.
I will be able to belt like a diva.
There's Merman, Peters, Menzel and Sherie.
I can sing Sondheim and Lauper
And belt to the rafters!
Belt to the rafters!
Belt to the rafters and laugh!

I Dreamed a Dream: If/Then
Ok, I'm not a huge fan of this musical, I think the score is okay and the only reason it's staying open is because of Idina Menzel's star power. I feel like there are so many other women who would do an amazing job as Elizabeth, an even better job!
Elizabeth Vaughan: Sherie Renee Scott (I love her, she is so talented and so funny! And she is so very humble about everything she does, she should have won the Tony for Everyday Rapture, she deserved it! And not to mention her voice is amazing!)
Kate: Patina Miller (Ok, she is amazing! And she was a finalist for the role of Effie White in the movie of Dreamgirls. She is amazing! And has such an awesome voice!)
Lucas: Zachary Levi (I personally saw him in First Date the Musical and I thought he did an awesome job! His other massive credit was playing Flynn Ryder in Tangled)
Josh Barton: Kurt Deutsch (Who better to play Scott's love interest in the show, than her real life husband? They are always amazing together!)
So, if this ever happens, I'll be the first in line to but a ticket. But I doubt it will so :( because the show will close once Idina leaves. :(

Watch What Happens
Hannah Waddingham as The Witch in Into the Woods
This whole production was amazing! Absolutely beautiful and breathtaking! This whole show sends chills down my spine every single time I watch it. The fact that they used a young boy as the narrator who *SPOILER* ends up becoming the Baker's Son *END SPOILER* just completely left me spellbound! It was amazing! And Hannah Waddingham as The Witch was pure genius! It was so amazing, from the open air setting, to the set's and it was amazing! It was better than the original production! I loved how they made it a contemporary costume setting to, while Cinderalla's Stepmother and Step Sisters and the princes were more of a classical look, like the original production, everyone else was wearing modernized clothes for the most part, they gave Cinderella a nose ring and Beats (The Headphones). I'm left speechless every time! You can watch the full production on Youtube, but you have to pay for it or buy/ rent it on Digital Theater. It's totally worth it and I even recommend it! Anyway, back to Waddingham she is awesome! I love her! Her other theater credits include Miss Gulch/ The Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz, The Lady of Lake in Monty Python's Spamalot, Lilli Vanessi in Kiss Me Kate, Desirée Armfeldt in A Little Night Music
Where: Regent Parks, Open Air Theater in London
When: August 6, 2010- September 11, 2010
Cast: Hannah Waddingham as The Witch
Eddie Manning, Ethan Beer, Joshua Swinney (Alternating) as The Narrator
Helen Dallimore as Cinderella
Ben Stott as Jack
Mark Hadfield as The Baker
Jenna Russel as The Baker's Wife
Gaye Brown as Cinderella's Stepmother
Amy Ellen Richardson as Florinda
Amy Griffiths as Lucinda
Marilyn Cutts as Jack's Mother
Beverly Rudd as Little Red Riding Hood (I'm personally giving her a shout out as well she did an amazing job as Little Red! I was laughing so hard!)
Gemma Wardle as Cinderella's Mother
Billy Boyle as The Mysterious Man
Michael Xavier as The Wolf/ Cinderella's Prince (Another shout out: He was also amazing! He was so awesome! And his wolf outfit, talk about woof! It was sexy! [Not the best picture of him] But still he was awesome!)
Alice Fearn as Rapunzel
Simon Thomas as Rapunzel's Prince
Valda Aviks as Little Red Riding Hood's Grandmother (She was also really funny!)

Marin Mazzie as Dianne in Next To Normal
I liked Mazzie much better as Dianne than I did Alice Ripley, to me Alice Ripley had this weird vibratto that she was trying to pull off to make the character sound like she was having a nervous breakdown, but for me it just didn't work.

When: July 19, 2010
Cast: Marin Mazzie as Dianne
Jason Danieley (Mazzie's real life husband) as Dan
Meghann Fahy as Natalie
Kyle Dean Massey (One of my future husbands) as Gabe
Adam Chanler-Berat as Henry
Louis Hobson as Dr. Fine/Dr. Madden

The Show Must Go On: 9 to 5
That wasn't the best, but no one really recorded 9 to 5 :( It was such a good show, I wish I saw it.
Watch What Happens
Betty Buckley as Mama Rose was so amazing and it was so beautiful. She just demanded the stage and her Rose's Turn I have never seen anything like it, she was powerful, fierce "NO THIS IS MY TURN NOW!" while most of the time people portrayed it as some what of a mental breakdown. Buckley played it as "I'm pissed off! Move it or loose it! You're with me or against me, etc." Betty Buckley is an amazing actress and if this did end up going to Broadway Buckley would have won a well deserved Tony.
Where: Paper Mill Playhouse, rumored to be Broadway Bound, but never happened.
When: 1998
Cast: Betty Buckley as Mama Rose.
Deborah Gibson as Louise
Laura Bell Bundy as Dainty June
"Everything's Coming Up Roses"
"Rose's Turn"

They got their facts wrong. The Broadway revival was in 2006, not 2007
And this is why we have rehearsal people, so we don't laugh...

I Dreamed A Dream: Gypsy
Movie
Mama Rose: Meryl Streep (Please, nobody even argue! She is amazing and I love her. We all know that her voice is amazing, and if her "Winner Takes it All" isn't any indication of how amazing she will be, go and see in her next performance as The Witch in Into The Woods. Oh my god! I just got chills imagining her "Rose's Turn")

Louise: Anne Hathaway (I originally had my doubts about her in Les Miserables, but she blew me away, she actually made me shed one tear during "I Dreamed a Dream" and I have never cried during a movie before or during a show or anything, I haven't even teared up. The fact that she made me shed one tear is powerful!)
Dainty June: Megan Hilty (Ok, we all know she is amazing and we are all waiting for her to play Marilyn Monroe when Bombshell comes to Broadway, but her Dainty June would be hilarious!)
Herbie: Joel Grey (Ok, I'm not much of a fan of Joel Grey myself, I think he's a talented actor and he does an amazing job. I think his Herbie would be so cute and adorable and him and Meryl would work their asses off together they would be up till like 4am just perfecting how they blink their eyes in character. But really though, we know it's true.)
Mazeppa: Nikki Blonsky (We all saw, and loved, her in Hairspray as Tracy Turnblad, I personally think she was so much better [Hehe, unintentional theater reference] than Marissa Jaret Winokur. I think she would make an awesome Mazeppa and be drop dead hilarious!)
Tessie Tura: Annaleigh Ashford (We all know she is hilarious her credits include Legally Blonde [Margot, u/s Elle and she even went on for Elle once], Kinky Boots [Lauren which she received her first Tony Nomination for and rave reviews], Wicked [G{A}linda which she was amazing in, You Can't Take It With You [Essie Carmichael, which she also received rave reviews for and I see another Tony Nomination for.], she also took place in countless readings for Heathers: The Musical, Carrie (Revival), The Addams Family. She is so funny!)
Revival
Mama Rose: Jennifer Hudson (Now, don't give me none of that crap "She's black she can't do it, Mama Rose is white" tell that to Leslie Uggams and we all know what an amazing singing voice she has. I don't even need to say how amazing she would be. If you don't believe, go to Youtube and type in "Jennifer Hudson Dreamgirls" and prepare to be amazed!)

Louise: Raven Symonè (People say she's horrible and she can't act and blah, blah, blah, but I think she is incredibly talented and very, very humble. I think she would bring this very unique heartbreak to Louise and for her singing voice is so awesome. Also most people don't know she was considered for Effie White during the film adaption of Dreamgirls.)
Dainty June: I honestly can't think of any one, well the only people I can think of are white and I hate when shows aren't realistic, when they have like a black mother with an albino child and they say "Oh no this child came out of my womb." or like in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street at Avery Fisher Hall in 2014 where Audra McDonald played The Old Beggar Woman, but when Mrs. Lovett sings "Poor Thing" they use a white woman as Lucy Barker and then also Joanna is played by a full on white girl, overall I loved that production, but I was like what?
Herbie: Billy Porter (I love him! He won a Tony for Kinky Boots when he was (And still is) Lola. He is amazing and I think he would just bring this authenticity to Herbie, not that the character isn't authentic, but I feel like he would just put a new and different take on Herbie.)
Quick Synopsis
Hey, folks! I love all of you who follow and read my blog and I just wanted to let you know about some of the different segments I do on here.
The Vocal Rest Diaries: (I'm currently on vocal rest, about halfway through it) I will be sharing my own personal experiences of Vocal Rest, but I will also be sharing the struggles of how every theater kid is when they have to be on vocal rest.
I Dreamed a Dream: I'm going to try and do one of these at least once a week and it will be different dream casts I have for shows or sometimes I will just pick one celebrity or Broadway actor and I will list the roles I think they should play and why they would be amazing in that role.
#Theaterkidproblems: Do I even need to explain? It's theater kid problems.
Run and Tell That: My review of when I go see a show, whether it be on Broadway, A Community Theater, A Tour or even a high school production.
The Show Must Go On: Funny stage fails/bloopers I find on the internet.
Watch What Happens: My performance of the day video. Most of the time they are illegally recorded, so don't be a little bitch and report the video because that's how I watch like 3/4ths of the shows I see.
I will probably add some more segments/ entries, I don't know what to call these, soon. And when I do I will let you know!
