Hannah Waddingham as The Witch in Into the Woods
This whole production was amazing! Absolutely beautiful and breathtaking! This whole show sends chills down my spine every single time I watch it. The fact that they used a young boy as the narrator who *SPOILER* ends up becoming the Baker's Son *END SPOILER* just completely left me spellbound! It was amazing! And Hannah Waddingham as The Witch was pure genius! It was so amazing, from the open air setting, to the set's and it was amazing! It was better than the original production! I loved how they made it a contemporary costume setting to, while Cinderalla's Stepmother and Step Sisters and the princes were more of a classical look, like the original production, everyone else was wearing modernized clothes for the most part, they gave Cinderella a nose ring and Beats (The Headphones). I'm left speechless every time! You can watch the full production on Youtube, but you have to pay for it or buy/ rent it on Digital Theater. It's totally worth it and I even recommend it! Anyway, back to Waddingham she is awesome! I love her! Her other theater credits include Miss Gulch/ The Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz, The Lady of Lake in Monty Python's Spamalot, Lilli Vanessi in Kiss Me Kate, Desirée Armfeldt in A Little Night Music
